All Sales Are Final for Vintage & Antique Items

All items sold by AJS Vintage Store Co are antique or vintage and are therefore sold as seen. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind, age, size, or normal wear consistent with vintage pieces. This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is materially misdescribed, faulty, or damaged in transit.

Some items displayed on our website can be reserved for collection only at The Den Emporium, Bournemouth. Payment for these items is taken in person at The Den Emporium, and such transactions are processed directly by The Den. All in-person sales made at The Den Emporium follow their in-store policy, which does not include refunds or exchanges. Purchases made at The Den Emporium are entirely separate from transactions made through our online store and are governed by The Den's own terms.

New Products – my Thrift Haul™ Collection

For new items such as our my Thrift Haul™ tote bags purchased online, you have a 14-day right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You must contact us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order to let us know you wish to cancel. Items must be returned unused and in original condition within 14 days of notifying us. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or materially misdescribed. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of the returned item being received and inspected.

Issues on Arrival

If an item arrives damaged or significantly not as described, please email hello@ajsvintagestoreco.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, clear photographs of the item and packaging, and a short description of the issue. We will review your case and advise next steps, which may include a courier insurance claim or a replacement or refund. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. Please place a new order if you would like a replacement item.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, for example due to an unfulfillable order or confirmed misdescription, the refund will be made to your original payment method within 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

We are not VAT registered, and VAT is not charged on any of our sales.
